Work to improve the quality and reliability of the mixers is ongoing. For example, the following equipment improvements made in this 2015:
Changes in mixers:
- The thickness of the lining of cast iron wear resistant armor now is 12 mm, which is 5 times increased uptime resource;
- Material spokes - casting the steel;
- The method of fastening the spokes - so-called "knuckle", which allowed to move away from the old attachment method through the shaft, not authorizing adjustability of placement of the shaft and weaken the shaft structure;
- Applied double sealed shaft, providing reliable protection against leaks sealed cement milk.
Changes in skipe:
- The traditional design of tumbling skip changed to skip to the bottom gate, allowing to minimize the dynamic loads on the structural elements of the mixer, skip and flyovers, as well as to eliminate problems with sticking materials when unloading into the mixer;
- Skip deployed shafts relative to harvested mixture was poured into the both shafts directly, and not on one shaft, as it was before;
- Skip hoist winch equipped with integrated electro-brake (previously used brake shoe type);
- The drum winding rope is made helical guide groove, thus reducing the risk of winding the rope on the shaft, leading to emergency shutdowns of production.
These activities contributed to the emergence of new modifications of equipment, surpassing their counterparts operating reliability and trouble-free operation on the resource.
