Агрегат смесительный служит для создания многокомпонентной асфальтовой смеси, в состав которой на обязательной основе входят горячие инертные материалы (песок, щебень фракции размером 0-40 мм) и битум, также дополнительно в зависимости от типа и рецепта смеси могут дозироваться минеральный порошок, пыль и целлюлозная добавка (опция).

Горячие инертные материалы дозируются в смеситель в нужных пропорциях согласно рецепту посредством весового дозирования. В дозатор горячие инертные материалы попадают из секций бункера с различными фракций согласно рецепту.

Битум дозируется в нагретом жидком состоянии температурой 140-160 градусов в нужных пропорциях по рецепту посредством весового дозирования. В дозатор битум набирается путём его подачи насосной станцией из битумного хранилища.

Минеральный порошок, пыль и целлюлозная добавка соответственно добавляются также при необходимости в зависимости от рецепта асфальтовой смеси в нужных пропорциях посредством весового дозирования. В соответствующие дозаторы подача добавок осуществляется с помощью шнеков.
