Description of work BMZ-160
From the loaded bunkers of the dosing complex, inert materials (crushed stone, sand) in certain proportions are fed into the drying drum, where they are dried and heated to 160 °C by heating with a burner. The resulting dust and flue gases through the air duct system through the draft created by the smoke exhauster enter the filter unit, where the dust is separated and the flue gases removed through the chimney are filtered. The separated coarse dust is returned by means of a screw conveyor to the hot aggregates elevator. The fine dust, shaken off from the filter bags, enters the dust elevator by means of a screw conveyor, from which it is either dosed and used to produce asphalt concrete, or redirected to the dust silo for storage and further use in production.
After warming up, the inert materials go through the elevator to the screen. The screen, in turn, separates materials into fractions and separates oversized inert materials, which are subsequently disposed of. The hot materials separated by fractions enter the storage sections of the hot inert materials hopper. Each of the fractions is weighed on a weight dispenser and in certain proportions (given on the basis of the asphalt concrete formulation), and then all the fractions are fed into the mixer.
In front of the mixer there are also dispensers of mineral powder and dust, bitumen and cellulose additive. Mineral powder and dust from the corresponding silo are fed into the batcher by means of a screw conveyor, weighed and sent to the mixer. The cellulose additive from the cellulose additive unit is fed into the dispenser by means of pneumatic transport, weighed and sent to the mixer.
The bitumen is heated up to 150 °C in the bitumen storage, it enters the dispenser through the heated line, is weighed and fed into the mixer. Initially, dry materials (crushed stone, sand, mineral powder, dust) are mixed in the mixer, after the bitumen is supplied, the final mixing takes place, which lasts no more than 20 seconds.
Ready asphalt concrete comes from the mixer into the storage bin of the finished mixture, from which it is then unloaded directly into the body of a truck.
