Bulk materials are loaded into the lower part of the elevator through a tray, then vertically transported in buckets to the upper part of the elevator due to the centrifugal force created by the drive part located at the top. The material in the buckets, passing the drive sprockets, turns over and enters the opposite part of the elevator, directly into the unloading chute, and then goes along the chute to the “consumer”. In the case of an asphalt plant, vertically moves hot aggregates from the drying drum to the top of the mixing tower to the screen.

The traction element of the elevator is a chain to which buckets are attached at a certain pitch. At the bottom of the elevator there are tension sprockets, and at the top there are drive sprockets that transmit rotation from the drive shaft to the chain. The elevator is driven by a 11 kW helical gear motor.
