A filter bag installation with back blowing is used to remove dust and flue gases generated during drying and heating of inert materials through filter bags, thereby acting as a fine filter.

Purge (regeneration) of filter bags is carried out by cleaning mechanisms that consistently ensure the flow of atmospheric air into the block with filter bags. As a result of the difference in pressure relative to atmospheric air and its passage through the hoses, dust is shaken off from the outer surface of the hoses and deposited in the dust collection hopper.
