What you need to open concrete factory

The technology of industrial concrete production has been used for over a hundred years. Over such a long period, the main technological issues have been worked out and refined, so private entrepreneurs who want to try their hand at commercial concrete production do not need to spend money on development and research in this area. The appearance on the Russian market of affordable concrete mixing equipment and the constant need for high-quality concrete played a positive role in the creation and development of private enterprises producing ready-mixed concrete, successfully realizing their ambitions in the concrete business.

"Prelaunch" event

Until that happy moment when the first cycle of mixing components in a concrete mixer begins, the entrepreneur will have to shoulder the burden of numerous activities, which can be reduced to four main areas:

  • registration of the enterprise with government agencies;
  • selection of concrete mixing equipment;
  • preparation of the production site;
  • establishing contacts with raw material suppliers.

Register concrete plant in state agencies

When registering an enterprise producing ready-mixed concrete, its activity receives code 23.63 - production of ready-mixed concrete - according to the OKVED classifier edition 2 (OK 029-2014 NDES), put into effect on June 28, 2016. According to the decoding of OKVED codes 2, the group of activities with code 23.63 is included in the following groups:

  • Section C – PROCESSING INDUSTRIES;
  • Class 23 – Manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products.

Registration of a concrete production enterprise as a legal entity is carried out in two ways:

  • as an object of individual entrepreneurship (IP);
  • in the form of a limited liability company (LLC).

The packages of documents required for registering an individual entrepreneur or LLC are determined by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

The choice of mixing technology

Equipment for a concrete plant is selected in accordance with the type of concrete products that production is aimed at and the planned capacity of the enterprise. The standard configuration of the concrete production process chain includes:

  • concrete mixer;
  • cement silo;
  • batching complex;
  • mechanisms for servicing the operation of the concrete mixer - augers, conveyors, dispensers, control panel.

The cost of equipment varies widely and depends on many factors. The most expensive are high-performance concrete plants (over 72 cubic meters per hour), operating in automatic “one button” mode.

When choosing equipment, the conditions for long-term, trouble-free operation of a concrete plant should be considered - quality, reliability, maintainability. Parts operating under conditions of abrasive wear must be made of high-strength wear-resistant materials. Saving on the purchase of cheap counterfeit concrete plants will subsequently lead to equipment breakdowns and production downtime, accompanied by large penalties for failure to contract concrete supplies.

Preparation of the production site

Most often, a concrete plant is located on rented territory. The minimum area for installation of a production line is 200-300 square meters. meters. For stable operation of production, it is necessary to ensure uninterrupted water supply (centralized water supply or your own well), sewerage, and the availability of network electricity.

Delivery of concrete components for production

The raw materials for making concrete are cement, crushed stone, gravel and sand. The ideal option for locating a concrete plant is the proximity of sand quarries or the presence of a developed road infrastructure to facilitate the supply of the BSU with the necessary raw materials.

conclusion

Concrete production is a highly profitable business. However, the entrepreneur must clearly understand that the prepared concrete mixture cannot be stored, but is intended for immediate use. To avoid downtime due to lack of orders, it is necessary to produce high-quality concrete at a competitive cost.
