Силос предназначен для хранения минерального порошка при работе завода БМЗ-80.

Минеральный порошок подается в силос из цементовоза по трубе закачке. В этот момент заслонка силоса закрыта.

При работе асфальтового завода заслонка находится в открытом положении. При затруднении подачи минерального порошка из силоса включается система аэрации или система сводообрушения (опция).
